Every time I’ve argued that a woman’s abortion or healthcare during time of a very personal decision is her fucking business and nobody else’s (not based on having a vagina, but if you have the particular vagina affected by the decision), they tell me I also need to shut up. Even though I’m not trying to dictate women’s decision.
Frank does the same. On Samuel Warde’s site, Liberals Unite, they shared the debate of Rand “smaller government” Paul, who wants government small enough that it can probe a women’s uterus of course, who asked such a fucking stupid question to Wasserman-Schulz about whether it’s okay to kill a 7 lb. baby, which is a badly misinformed trap-question that doesn’t trap anybody.
When she did answer, she ripped him to shreds:
Here’s an answer. I support letting women and their doctors make this decision without government getting involved. Period. End of story. Now your turn, Senator Paul. We know you want to allow government officials like yourself to make this decision for women –– but do you stand by your opposition to any exceptions, even when it comes to rape, incest, or life of the mother? Or do we just have different definitions of ‘personal liberty’? And I’d appreciate it if you could respond without ‘shushing’ me.”
He tried (and failed) to save face on CNN:
Every man arguing against abortion has done that exact tactic to try to discredit me. All he has successfully done is discredit himself, and he doesn’t even see it.
But then, what do you expect from anybody defending Rand Paul? They’re just like supporters of his father:
